Oralzin Syrup: Each 5 ml contains Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate USP equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg.
Zinc is an essential element in human with a wide range of biological roles. ZInc plays catalytic, structural or regulatory roles in more than 200 zinc metalloenzymes that have been identified in biological systems. Physiologically, zinc is vital for growth and development, sexual maturation and reproduction, drak vision adaptation, olfactory and gustatory activity, insulin storage and release and for a variety of host immune defenses, among other things.
Zinc is indicated for the following indications-

Dosage & Administration
Oralzin Syrup: Child under 10 kg : 1 teaspoonful daily in divided dose. Child over 10 kg : 2 teaspoonful daily in divided dose.
It is contraindicated in patient hypersensitivity to zinc.
Warning & Precautions
Food may decrease the absorption of the zinc.
In case of zinc mild side effects such as gastric ulcer, nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, drowsiness have been observed.
Tetracycline, Quinolones, Penicillamine, & Biophosphate.
Use in special groups
Use in pregnancy & lactation: Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid zinc doses higher than RDA amounts.
Oralzin Syrup: Each bottle contains 100 ml syrup.
