Description

Cytocrome C synthesizes ATP from ADP by oxidative phosphorylation and anhydrous sodium succinate promotes ATP synthesis. Adenosine is involved in the production of the energy required for the vital function of the lens such as the biosynthesis of glutathione, intermembrane active transport of ions and amino acids, the synthesis of DNA, RNA and nucleic acids. Nicotinamide is involved in the synthesis of ATP and NADPH maintains reduced glutathione, which protects the lens cells from oxidizing agents and free radicals.
